The company App Figures shared a report with the applications with the most downloads in March worldwide, a report that covers both the iOS ecosystem and Android systems.
It is possible to see in this report some of the best-known apps in the world, but, curiously, Facebook seems to be absent from the 'ranking' of Apple's virtual store. As you can see below, the Facebook it is not among the ten most downloaded applications on the App Store. However, the application is present in second place in the 'ranking' of Android.
As far as the top places are concerned, the TikTok (followed by CapCut, also owned by ByteDance) is at the top of iOS apps in this report. Instagram is already in the first place of Android apps.
Looking at the combined result of downloads between iOS and Android we see that the Instagram is at the top with 50 million downloads, followed by TikTok with 47 million, Facebook with 41 million, WhatsApp with 34 million and CapCut with 28 million. Next are Telegram, Snapchat, the Shein store app and, in last place, Messenger.
