O TikTok announced the launch of a new tab that will be dedicated to educational videos in the area of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, which means that the other tabs will be dedicated to entertainment only.
How does the Engadget website, in order to maintain the reliability of this tab, TikTok will have the help of Common Sense Networks, an organization that will study the content that is relevant to be presented in this area.
BUT: TikTok may be closer to being banned in the US
Note that the tab in question is not yet present on TikTok, with the company advancing that the launch will be “in the coming weeks”.
