Trump demands Microsoft executive resignation and again attacks Obama and Biden ties

US President Donald Trump said on Friday (26) that Microsoft should fire Lisa Monaco, the company's current president of Global Affairs, using his Truth Social account to criticize her record in Democratic administrations. Trump said Monaco was "a senior national security advisor under Barack Hussein Obama and a lawfare- and arms-obsessed deputy attorney general under Crooked Joe Biden and Lisa's puppet-in-chief attorney general, Merrick Garland," adding that her current role at Microsoft gives her access to "highly sensitive information," something he considered "unacceptable."

Trump wrote that "in his opinion, Microsoft should immediately terminate Lisa Monaco's employment," noting that he had already revoked her security clearance earlier this year, in an order that also included Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, and members of the Biden family.

Microsoft declined to comment. Monaco joined the company in May and has taken on roles overseeing cybersecurity policy and relations with international governments.

Laura Loomer, a far-right activist and Trump ally, has openly criticized Monaco's presence at the company, and in other posts has also attacked Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, emphasizing that he was "born in India" and accusing him of "shameful and coup-like" behavior. After Trump's post, Loomer again called for "all Microsoft government contracts to be canceled."

Trump has made similar statements against other technology executives. He previously said Intel Chairman Lip-Bu Tan should "immediately resign" over alleged conflicts of interest. Later, after Intel granted the government a 10% stake in exchange for funding previously secured by the Biden administration, Trump described Tan as a "highly respected CEO."
