Tupuca warns about fraud in multi-card payment fraud

Recently, some social networks have been circulating the message that Tupuca couriers are cloning customers' cards at the time of payment, and that this practice was already registering many cases.

To remedy the situation, Tupuca has already come to the public to communicate that its security methods for TPA's, follow the procedures of the EMIS and the Banks with which they have a partnership. The company also guaranteed that an investigation is open on the existence of a criminal act of cloning the Multicaixa Card, using a machine other than the “TPA NORMAL- Automatic payment terminal ”, according to the opinion of the injured customers.

How to check if the card is not cloned at the time of payment?

Before making a payment through the services of the company in question and not only, it is important to follow and check the following steps:

  1. Identify the deliverer (Tupuquinha) and confirm the order reference;
  2.  Check the TPA in the hand of the Tupuquinha, belonging to the Atlantic Banks, BAI and Banco Económico;
  3. After payment, demand the “TPA” receipt and check the company name (Tupuca LDA);
