The Startups that presented their projects and competed for the Seedstars Luanda 2017 award were:

  1. Screwed up a Startup that comes up to help people know the prices of products in various supermarkets. 3. Tecno Society: a company that develops portable electronics, capable of carrying low energy consumption equipment through water. This was one of the presentations that most aroused the curiosity of the jury and the audience, everyone wanted to understand how it was possible to carry electronic devices using only water.

4. Tupuca: a company that offers its customers the service of Take Away and home delivery of food. Certainly the great heavyweight of this edition, since this startup has become quite known in recent times. Initially Tupuca had not been announced as a finalist, but on the penultimate day, to everyone's surprise, Startup went, saw and won.

5. Deya: a crowdfunding platform to connect entrepreneurs and creatives to a supportive community to help them bring their ideas to life. This was the first startup with a Startup Studio BantuMakers. The idea was well received among entrepreneurs who are counting on funding for their projects.

6. On the Via: a Startup that appears to revolutionize the way ordinary people have access to advertising campaigns, a startup that is well adapted to the Angolan reality. The idea is “simple”, to install screens on candongueiros (aka blue and white) and to advertise on these screens. The range of information in taxis is quite impressive!
