IGAPE clarifies that Unitel, SA is the largest mobile telecommunications company in Angola, which is of exceptional public interest for the state, given the sector's strategic position, aggregated technical knowledge, modern technological profile and its reference in national employability.

"For these facts, it should be noted that all measures are being taken to safeguard the proper functioning of the aforementioned asset and guarantee the continuity and safeguard of the common good.”, assures IGAPE.

As for CABLE TV, Patrício Vilar, president of IGAPE, in an interview with Rádio Nacional de Angola said that “there are only three more companies to go before we have a stock index, TV Cabo is already coming out, which will be privatized on the stock exchange. At this moment we are still negotiating the reference price”, emphasizing that the company is a pioneering brand in the distribution of data and content via cable on the African continent, where it has equal shares in Angola of Angola Telecom and Grupo Visabeira, recognized specialists in the field of telecommunications.
