TVCABO, the national cable operator in fiber optic and triple play (TV + NET + VOZ), carried out on July 28 last July, a social action initiative jointly with the Angolan Ecological Youth (JEA), a non- governmental organization dedicated to issues of protection, recovery and preservation of the environment, as part of the World Conservation Day.
The action took place at the 1120 Primary School (3020), located at Rua Comandante Eurico Urbana District of Ingombota and was attended by the JEA Team and Team MK TVCABO, also involving 60 students and the School Directorate. In this initiative was given a talk on "the importance of nature and its conservation"Highlighting places of natural interest, animals, plants. Videos were also projected on the theme and some educational games about the Giant Black Lever were carried out.
Dr. Francisco Ferreira, General Director of TVCABO, stated that:
"The aim of this initiative was to raise awareness of the importance of environmental issues, to alert students and to instill in them these concerns to take them into account in their futures. This is a very important and current theme, so we believe we have been able to get this message through the activities carried out and the exchange of ideas and experiences.
