Twitter will soon allow tweets to save

O Twitter is testing a new button that will allow users to save tweets to read or watch later. Tweets will be privately saved.

Twitter can be the most agile and organic social network, but it lacks some simple tools. A lot of people use it as a news feed and interesting posts, and the only way to save posts to read later is to enjoy tweets (which is visible to all followers).

The new feature will be very useful especially for those who like to access Twitter to read news or watch videos.

Keith Coleman, the company's product chief, announced the next change in a tweet last night. Coleman said a way for people to make tweets with bookmarks was a higher order, and that feature will allow people to revert to tweets and stories later, without having to use the "enjoy" button as a workaround.

A function of saving tweets for later reading is important for two reasons: first, it helps to separate the posts you really liked from the ones you just want to read later, but we never remember to deselect. Second, it gives Twitter a more practical bias, by having a link aggregator tool that could even be shared.

For now the feature is in the testing phase, limited to a select number of Twitter users and there is no prediction of when it will be made available to everyone. All we have to do is wait.
