
A province of Uíge will gain a public Telecommunications school, becoming the second in the country, after Luanda.
The information was revealed by the Minister of Education, Luísa Grilo, during the closing of the 15th edition of the Technological Innovation Fair of the Luanda Telecommunications Institute (FITITEL).
"The process is advanced. We will count on the experience of the Luanda Telecommunications Institute (ITEL) to ensure the same quality that a Telecommunications institute demands.”, said the ruler.

In her speech, the Minister expressed her satisfaction in observing the progress of young students in technological subjects at FITITEL, highlighting the students' ability to apply what they learn to solve society's problems.
Luisa Grilo, assured the intention of her department to work with the creators of the projects exhibited at FITITEL, so that they can be used in various schools in the country, similar to what happens in the work of digitalizing the education system and, recently, in the last public competition held in Luanda and Cuanza-Norte, supported by an application for online registration and automatic correction of tests, developed by final year students of ITEL.
The minister also highlighted that the event presented several technological solutions that can be implemented in schools, from pre-school to secondary education.
