The technological park of Huawei in Angola, an investment estimated at US$60 million, was inaugurated today (14th), in Talatona, Luanda, by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.

Built in an area of ​​32 square metres, the infrastructure comprises three centres, the first of which is aimed at training Angolan talent and engineers.

The second is devoted to innovation (for new technologies), while the third is for advanced technological experiences.

In a first phase, the technological park will ensure the training of over 1.500 talents and engineers and, subsequently, it will ensure online training, which may cover an unlimited number of beneficiaries.

The technology park also has a Data Center and 3G, 4G and 5G Telephony Solutions and Data Center for solar panels for homes and businesses.

The infrastructure also offers energy solutions for prepaid systems, videoconferencing, artificial intelligence, smart home (distance connection of equipment).

In a mix of theoretical and practical classes, the center will provide training in 5G, data communication, network engineering and information storage in the clouds.

The institution should provide 120 jobs, mostly for Angolans.

The park stands out for having four training rooms with 32 seats each, three residential buildings for 180 employees, a cafeteria for XNUMX people, and a playground.

This is Huawei Technologies' third technology park in Africa, after Egypt and South Africa.
