A European Union (EU) will reward the best undergraduate and postgraduate works in higher education institutions in Angola, a program that is part of the act of promoting and making known to young Angolans European public policies with the aim of strengthening cooperation in the country.
Named EU-Angola Dialogues, this award aims to support excellence in academic research and create opportunities for progression for higher education students and teachers in Angola, as well as encouraging students to learn more about the EU, its standards, practices or policies, including in a comparative perspective with the country and with Africa.
This recognition by the EU also comes to stimulate the interest of higher education institutions in Angola in promoting European studies and cooperation with European institutions.
Candidates for the award must be aged 35 or over, be enrolled in a master's or doctoral course at an Angolan higher education institution, have completed the first academic year, have a research plan approved by their educational institution and a supervisor linked to a national institution of higher education.
