UNITEL boosts 4G signal in the provinces of Cabinda and Cuanza Sul

A UNITEL extended in June, the Voice and Data services of 4G technology in the locations of Cacongo and Massabi in the Province of Cabinda and Amboim-Gabela, in the Province of Cuanza Sul.

The extension of the 4G signal to those locations was carried out after UNITEL had carried out, between January and May, 13 locations in the country, namely: Buco-Zau and Dinge, also in Cabinda, Waku Kungo and Libolo, in Cuanza Sul, Muxinda, in Lunda Norte Province, Cahama, in Cunene, Alto Hama, Chipipa, Cachiungo and Calenga, in Huambo, Tombwa, in Namibe, Songo, in Uíge and Cambambe, in Cuanza Norte.

3G and 4G services are available in 349 locations in the country, allowing voice and data transmission (browsing websites, downloading and using online applications more quickly). 4G covers the capitals of the 18 Provinces of Angola and has a
implementation of 36% in Municipalities and 16% in Communes.
