Unitel extends 4G services in Cabinda and Lunda Norte provinces

A Unitel extended its 4G technology voice and data services to more locations in the country, namely in Buco-Zau (Cabinda) and Muxinda (Lunda Norte).

According to a communiqué from the operator, in which the editorial office of MenosFios had access, this extension of the signal to the referred locations took place between January and April, and where the company also informs that it has done the same in 11 other locations in the country: Cahama (Cunene); Alto Hampa, Chipipa, Cachiungo and Calenga (Huambo); Tombwa(Namibe); Songo(Uíge), Waku Kungo and Libolo(Cuanza Sul); Cambambe (Cwanza Norte); Dinge(Cabinda).

In the note, Unitel stresses that 3G and 4G services are already available in 345 locations in Angola, making voice and data transmission easier and faster, as well as the country's 18 provinces already have total 4G coverage, implemented in 34,8 .15,4% in municipalities and XNUMX% in communes.

With this coverage of its services in the locations above, and with more than 14 thousand kilometers of optical fiber, Unitel thus shows that it has been “a true engine of technological development, by providing a network capable of supporting the transmission of voice calls and data with quality, reliability and transmission speed”, concludes the note from the mobile operator.
