Microsoft has apparently decided to live up to its promise, pointing out that smartphones that use the Android and iOS Skype or Whatsapp installed, would be able to make group video calls. In a first phase, this service will only be available in Europe and the USA, but according to the company, this service will arrive in Angola only in March this year.

A maximum of 25 people will be allowed in a group video call on Skype, and the person responsible for the call will be displayed in the center of all users who are present on the call.

Microsoft is also allowing the invitation for Skype video calls to be made for iOS and Android. This allows anyone to invite people to a group conversation, and they can even join a video call using Skype for Web.

Just to point out that Microsoft is not the first company to allow group video calls on mobile devices. Google Hangouts allows up to 10 people on the same video call.
