The world today has several social networks to communicate with our friends, families, companies and among other activities that we carry out on many platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp ou Snapchat.

If you are a person who uses multiple social networks, know that you are a different person in each one. The Penn State College of Technology and Information Sciences and London's King's College conducted a study in which the need for each user of social networks to be integrated into different communities was revealed.

"A person can exhibit different behaviors in each social network he uses, according to the study carried out, people present themselves on each platform in completely different ways".

Today when people want to talk to friends and family, they use more Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp; when they want to share with their friends certain moments, such as a new place they visited, use Instagram or SnapChat more; for business contacts, go to LinkedIn, and to interact with experts, Twitter is the most frequent option.

It is easy to notice that people have different personalities on social networks, all because, many people have different biographies, different profile pictures and different ways of interacting with other people. This is very noticeable, given that there are certain photographs that have popularity on Instagram or Facebook and are not suitable for other social networks.

People who make use of several social networks are aware of what should be shared in each of the networks, differently from those who only use one for example and are forced to share almost everything. "Networks" can be a way for us to better control our different personalities.

By using different social networks, we sometimes end up leaving our brands without realizing it. So we need to be able to control our digital footprints so that we can learn about our behaviors.
