O WebSummit shared details for the 2025 edition, highlighting the main guests and companies represented at the technology summit, which returns to Lisbon from November 10 to 13.
On the event website, Web Summit has already confirmed several speakers and companies present in Lisbon, notably Meta, Qualcomm, QED Investors, Runway, Replit, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team, The New York Times, Apple, and MSA Capital.
Starting with some statistical data, the 2025 edition will receive more than 70 visitors, including over a thousand investors and a record number of startups, with the participation of around 3.000. The organization guarantees a renewed focus on promoting meaningful connections between visitors and encourages community meetings. Among the list of distinguished speakers are leaders from technology, sports, and the press.

The organization's official list, consulted by the MenosFios team up to November 10th, included 9 Angolan startups confirmed for Web Summit 2025. The Angolan startups represent various sectors of interest, such as fintech, agritech, edtech, cleantech, and AI.

- Tecnagro (Agritech): Drone system and data analysis for soil management and crop forecasting, driving precision agriculture (will be present on 11/13, stand A4-56).
- Biocarbon (Cleantech): Innovative in carbon capture and renewable energies, developing environmental solutions to mitigate climate impacts (will be present on 11/13, stand A4-17).
- NzingaChat (AI): Intelligent AI-based chatbot, adapted to local languages for customer support and automation in public services (will be present on 11/13, stand A2-40).
- Yetuedu (Edtech): Virtual tutoring and gamification platform, aiming to reduce school dropout rates through personalized education (will be present on 11/13, booth A7-63).
One success story that participated in Web Summit in 2024 is the Angolan startup ANDA, which revealed that it had achieved... investment of USD 3,4 million.
The Web Summit aims to be a platform for hundreds of communities to meet. It hopes to create smaller, more intimate moments between participants. These encounters will provide challenging discussions on how technology is shaping the world.
