By clicking on the link, the user will be asked to pass the message to their contacts and after this will be directed to the installation of software of dubious origin.

According to Kaspersky Lab, more than 100 thousand people have already been affected by this coup. Fabio Assolini, security analyst at Kaspersky Lab Brazil, says that this is not the first malicious WhatsApp campaign that promises this feature, but as the feature is now available to Android users, cybercriminals are taking advantage of the novelty to trick more victims.
