WhatsApp fixed message

O WhatsApp is revealing more new features for conversations within its platform, which are similar to what other users already had on platforms like Telegram.

From now on, users can place sticky messages in their conversations to highlight important information. This new feature will be particularly useful for groups, which can have a way to quickly access important information without having to scroll through conversation history.

All types of messages can be placed as “sticky” messages in the conversation, whether text messages, images, videos or polls.

Messages can remain fixed in the conversation for a period of 24 hours to 30 days, with the default being seven days. Furthermore, in the case of groups, group administrators will have the ability to choose whether they want all users to be able to pin messages or only administrators.

To pin a message, simply press it for a few seconds and select the “Pin” option from the menu.

WhatsApp also emphasizes that all pinned messages continue to be encrypted on the platform, to guarantee the security and privacy of the content.

Users simply need to ensure they have the latest version of WhatsApp to be able to use the functionality.
