O WhatsApp is testing an increase in the timeout for deleting messages for all elements of a conversation in the messaging app, reveals the BetaInfo.
According to the article, the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android and iOS allows users to delete messages in conversations for a period of up to two days and 12 hours.

Remember that this is a substantially higher time limit than what WhatsApp currently gives, which does not go beyond 1 hour 8 minutes and 16 seconds.
This new WhatsApp time limit is not yet in the final version of the messaging app but, given that it is already in the beta version, it is a matter of time before it is available to all users.
