Meta Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that an update will be released for WhatsApp which will give more control over who can join a specific group.
When receiving requests from users to join a group, responsible administrators will be able to see, on a single page, all requests and quickly decide who can join.

Users will also find it easier to discover groups that they have in common with someone else, says the TechCrunch website. When searching for a contact's name, it will be possible to see which groups they have in common and quickly find out about similar interests.
