As the rumors pointed out, the WhatsApp won a new role as of today: video calls. The feature was in testing phase among some users and has now been officially made available to the major mobile platforms on the market: Android, Windows Phone e iOS.
Manpreet Singh, one of those responsible for the application guaranteed that WhatsApp adapts the video call to the conditions of the network:
We can make top quality calls when there is better connection and also we can reduce the quality when the connection is bad
This is the third method of communication offered by WhatsApp and now enters into competition with Skype or Whatsapp: FaceTime da Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), who also make video calls.
Last year, the company introduced the feature of internet voice calls and in addition to text communication with various types of attachments. According to the data, more than 100 million calls are made every day on WhatsApp, in Angola the use of this tool is also being felt, since the app is gaining new users every day.
Now, users have several options to express themselves from WhatsApp, whether to send text messages, photos, videos, voice messages or make voice or video calls. Remember that the update may take a few days to reach all users and will be completely free, just like the other features that have already been implemented by WhatsApp.
