O WhatsApp implemented a new feature that has the function of locking the microphone so that the user continues to send the audio without holding the button at the same time.
The user to use the new WhatsApp feature should start recording a voice message in the application just as it was done before. Now, however, a padlock signal appears on the screen before you start recording.
For example, it will be possible to navigate through the chat the user is in while sending the audio, since you do not need to hold the microphone button. This can be great for when you want to reply to multiple messages sent by the contact.
When you finish recording, just press the arrow icon to send, or “Cancel” if you give up sending. The new feature is only available for now for iPhone users, and to have access you need to update Whatsapp to a new version.
