Whatsapp now lets you automatically delete messages from all conversations

The functionality of Whatsapp, developed by WABetaInfo beta version, which allows users to set the automatic deletion of messages after a certain period of time when starting a new conversation has new options.

The feature was launched in November last year, but it was only available for new private conversations and users only had the option to automatically delete messages after seven days. Now the application offers the option to do it after 24h, after seven days or after 90 days and the possibility of activating this feature is also available when starting a new group conversation.

Messages can disappear after 24h, seven days or 90 days from the start of the conversation

Also, the app now has automatic message deletion enabled by default for new private conversations, which won't affect existing conversations. When a new conversation is started, a message will appear, visible to both the recipient and the sender, informing that this resource is active. Anyone who wants to can deactivate it in the settings for private conversations.

Whatsapp has already made these new options available on all platforms and in Whatsapp's “frequently asked questions” you can find out how to use them.
