O WhatsApp launched at the beginning of the year a Chat Lock name functionality, which allows users to add a layer of security to their most sensitive conversations. Thanks to this functionality, users can 'bar' access using biometric security.
The only problem is that this layer of security can only be enjoyed on the main device of a given WhatsApp account, which means that conversations are unprotected on other devices where you have your account.

WhatsApp has now launched the “secret code”, which allows conversations to be blocked on all devices until the code is entered.
"At the beginning of the year we launched Chat Lock to help people protect their most sensitive conversations. Today we launch the secret code, an additional way to protect these conversations and make them more difficult to find if someone has access to your phone or shares your phone with someone", said WhatsApp according to the Mirror website.
