You can start the party. A long-awaited news has just been confirmed: WhatsApp Web will be available on your computer. All of this will be possible thanks to a web client that was launched today for Chrome and Android.
The official address is “web.whatsapp.com".
According to the Whatsapp team,
"The main use is, of course, still on your phone, but there are people who spend a lot of time in front of a computer at home or at work, and that will help fill both gaps."
The phone will need to remain connected to the Internet, as it will be the “server” and the computer will function as a client. All messages will be on the phone, but WhatsApp is waiting for the customer to give users more flexibility.
"We really hope you find the web client useful in your daily lives."
There are no release forecasts yet for iOS but the company plans to launch WhatsApp Web for the Apple platform in the near future.
