Windows 10 was launched with the aim of becoming the most popular operating system of all, and to be available for various types of devices, with various screen sizes. Its goals were well defined, but time proved that it would not be as easy as the Microsoft believed

The latest figures show that it was not yet in 2017 that Windows 10 passed its predecessor, but that it may not be long before that happens. NetMarketShare figures show that in November Windows 10 had reached a share 31,95%, having in December grown 0,98 percentage points, reaching 32,93%. For its part, Windows 7 did not change much over the same period, having lost only 0,04 percentage points, 43,08%.

Given this, the difference between Microsoft's two largest operating systems is 10,15%, with Windows 7 still at an advantage.

In the StatCounter, which predicted that Windows 10 would surpass Windows 7 last year, the current system has a share of around 41,69%, while Windows 7 has 41,89%. Apparently, in the next month Windows 10 may surpass “7”.

What is your favorite version: Windows 7 or Windows 10?
