Microsoft has decided to accelerate the development of Windows 10 and some details began to be revealed.
The main novelty is that Windows 10 will be available in seven versions:
- IoT (Internet of Things)
- Mobile
- Home
- Enterprise
- Professional
- Mobile Enterprise
- Educations
If we look back, Windows 8.1 had only four versions of Windows 8.1. But this is explained by the new model implemented by Microsoft, in which all devices (whether smartphones, tables, PCs ...) have the same operating system.
The good news is that the promise to keep Windows 10 “free” continues. According to Microsoft, Windows 10 Home and Pro will be available for free to users with Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 who have appropriate licenses, that is, those who have the Windows 7 Home version will only be able to upgrade to the Windows 10 Home version.
