Microsoft has already planned to present its “next generation of Windows” at an event scheduled for the end of this month. The American giant has started sending out invitations to the media for a Windows event for the 24th of June. Both the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella, as the product director, Panos Panay, will make a presentation at the Windows event. Microsoft's Windows event will start at 11:00 am in the US, which in Angola will be around 16:00.
Certainly many are already curious to know about Microsoft's next operating system and after a leak, the look of Windows 11 was made publicly available.
The new Windows 11 user interface and Start menu are very similar to those originally found in Windows XNUMX Windows 10X . Microsoft was simplifying Windows for dual-screen devices, before canceling this project in favor of Windows 11. Visually, the biggest changes can be found in the taskbar. Microsoft centralized the application icons, cleared the tray area, and added a new Start button and menu.
This updated Start menu is a simplified version of what currently exists in Windows 10, without Live Tiles. Includes pinned apps, recent files, and the ability to quickly shut down or restart Windows 11 devices. It's actually much more streamlined than what currently exists in Windows 10. In case the user doesn't want the app icons and the Start menu to be centered, there is an option to move them back to the left side. Along with the dark mode that's also available, Windows 11 starts to look like a more refined version of Windows 10 than something dramatically new.
Microsoft is also using rounded corners throughout Windows 11. They are visible in context menus and around applications and File Explorer. The Start menu itself also includes rounded corners. This is still a leaked early version of Windows 11, so not everything is included yet. We expect to see more changes to the Windows 11 built-in apps, but most of them don't seem to be present yet. A large part of the operating system looks finished, so we hope to see a beta of it coming soon for the Windows Insiders test.
