as already we had reported, Microsoft has decided to give more attention to its new beloved son, Skype. The instant communicator has attracted the attention of the users to the great quality of the voice calls, using for this codecs efficient in IP networks.
According to Microsoft, Messenger would be “discontinued” (I prefer to say extinct…) in the first quarter of 2013. Now, through an email, Microsoft confirms the date: 15 March 2013.
It did not make much sense, Microsoft to manage two instant communicators. Therefore, the strongest will survive.
This will be the end of Messenger worldwide, with the exception of China. Yes, the Chinese will continue to have Messenger on their computers.
