As expected, the Apple presented a summary of the iOS 18, the next major update to the iPhone operating system.
In the first part of the presentation, she reserved all the general iOS news, while the second half of the video was to talk about AI news.
Redesigned Home Screen
One of the new features of iOS 18 predicted by rumors is the ability to home screen customization. Now, app icons can adopt Dark Mode and users can tint them with a color of their choice, creating a unique and personal aesthetic.

Customizable Control Center
The Control Center also underwent a significant redesign. With a new gallery, it is now highly customizable.
Users can also swipe continuously to access other Control Center screens, improving navigation and usability.

Enhanced Security and Privacy
Another notable addition in iOS 18 is the ability to block apps with authentication, which increases the security and privacy of personal data.
The user will also be able to hide applications from the screen, search and Siri, ensuring that sensitive data does not appear when you don't want it to.
Last but not least and as mentioned before, the developer beta of iOS 18 is now available for testing today. The public beta should arrive at a later date and the official launch of the system update is scheduled for September to November.
