The LinkedIn-like job search tool that X is experimenting with is now available. The web version of the tool is now open to all users of the social network, with availability for iOS and Android expected “soon”, according to the company.

This new feature joins Elon Musk's list of ideas for the platform, with the aim of making it the central app “for everything”, something similar to what WeChat achieved in China.

X Job Search is now the new social network platform, where companies can present their job vacancies, and users can search for them. This tool will start to become available on the web version of the platform, and will eventually also arrive on Android and iOS.

By accessing it, users can quickly check job vacancies in the region where they are located – at the moment, the tool seems more focused on the North American market.

The platform appears to collect some data from external platforms, but the idea is that companies that have a presence on X can also use this tool to offer their vacancies.

As previously mentioned, it is still unknown exactly how the platform works in the background, but taking into account a quick check of it, it appears to be offering vacancies that are available in several companies outside of X, which indicates that you can find data is being collected from another platform – possibly based on some partnership.
