In 2024 the X launched the ability to make voice and video calls on its mobile app, a feature that was activated by default on the social network and which, as noted by the PC Mag website, can reveal sensitive information such as the IP address.
If you want to fix this and stop people from making voice and video calls to you, there is a change you need to make to your X app.
BUT: X (formerly Twitter) has increased its subscription price. It now costs 20 kwanzas per month
To do this, you must open the app, press your profile icon in the top left corner and go to Csettings & support and then the Settings and privacy. You will then be taken to a new page and you must choose the option Privacy and Security and then the area of Direct messages.
Once in this area, you can decide to disable the option Enable audio and video calls. Note that if you wish to remain active, you can select the people who can contact you in this life.
