With the partnership, the two institutions will begin to cooperate in the field of verifying the data of drivers who work or intend to work with the application, in addition, the Angolan authorities will be able to analyze the criminal record and driving license of these drivers, as well as the booklet and title of ownership of the vehicles that use the application to provide the transport service.

"This partnership represents a very important step, given the concerns that have been emerging for some time on social media about some insecurity in app-based taxis.“, said the general director of the Integrated Public Security Center, Adulcínio Lutucuta.

On the other hand, the director of Yango in Angola, Ivan Mugimbo, considered the issue of customer safety to be paramount and thanked the authorities for their openness.
