Technological solutions, namely the replacement of tablets by laptops, have revolutionized the Public Service Desks (BUAP), in Mbanza Kongo, province of Zaire, according to the words of Mateus Alberto Malungo, municipal director of records and modernization administrative.

According to the manager, previously, close to 150 citizens were assisted per day in the BUAP installed in the main municipality, but now at least three hundred users are assisted, realizing that the previous equipment created countless difficulties for the employees and that the adoption of technological means has been a added value.

According to what is revealed by Mateus Alberto Malungo, more than 15 thousand people is the number of citizens who have already updated their electoral registration or acquired their citizen card in the six BUAP available at the level of the municipality of Mbanza Kongo , from the beginning of the process (September 2021) to the present date, and where the expected target, according to the person in charge, is 28 thousand users by the end of the process scheduled for the end of March of this year.

BUT: MAT provides a platform that allows you to know where you are going to vote

To this end, this goal will be achieved with the provision of 14 state-of-the-art portable computers, which replaced the tablets that often caused disconnection with the network and the computer system.

Mateus Alberto Malungo was speaking on the sidelines of a visit by a delegation from UNITA's provincial secretariat, headed by its head, Pedro Francisco Tanda, who observed the functioning of the BUAP in the municipal headquarters of Mbanza Kongo.
