There are days rumors spread: HTC would be producing a new smartphone, fully targeted to Facebook, until the date was announced, mid-2013.
Of course the story fit, Facebook wants to follow in the footsteps of other technology giants (Microsoft, Google, Apple) and try to fit in all possible branches. After the "failure" that was the IPO (Initial Public Offering) that opened the doors of Facebook to the stock exchange, the company has to innovate whenever it can. One more reason for the rumor to make sense.
But the CEO of Facebook came to end speculation and set the company's priorities: improve applications existing ones, further specifying that its development team is working hard so that iOS6 has an even better integration with Facebook (and Instagram !? )
Therefore, users who were counting the days to have a smartphone totally turned to that social network that everyone "likes", will have to look for something else to tell, this cause is lost.
