WhatsApp has updated its application and has brought some changes, very focused for the (famous) groups, in order to make group conversations more organized.
The new version of WhatsApp for iOS and Android operating systems will allow users to send notifications to contacts in a particular group, for example when they want to have a conversation in the group and that person is not in the group at that moment, something similar to the identifications from Facebook.
From the group, the user simply types “@”, a list will appear with the names of the group participants, then just choose the person or recipient that you want to receive the notification. You can tag one or more people who are part of the group and identify them.
WhatsApp in this new update has excluded that option where the user has chosen to mute a certain group, from now who is identified by more than has muted the group for which it was identified, will receive the notification in a normal sound. Groups remain with a maximum number of 256 people and the user can notify anyone, regardless of whether or not the person is in the contact list.
