[Angola] DSTV launches five new channels today !!!

DStv officially announced 5's new television channels at the Miami Beach restaurant in Luanda, which will be available on the grid starting today (22 July 2014) and exclusive to Angola and Mozambique. The presentation was made by Nuno Santos, content director for DStv for Angola and Mozambique and David Russel, the General Manager of Multichoice Angola.

• DStv Novels Only (520 Channel): With 24 hours of soap operas, 7 days a week and will gather the best novels produced in Brazil and in the World (available in the packages DStv Grande and DStv Bué).
• Popcorn DStv (547 Channel): With films spoken in Portuguese and coming to be the first film channel in the market fully spoken in Portuguese (available in the packages DStv Fácil, DStv Grande and DStv Bué).
• CineMundo (546 Channel): A channel for the lovers of the seventh art that will have the responsibility of displaying the best and most emblematic films of the last years (available in the packages DStv Grande and DStv Bué).
• DStv 1 (509 Channel): The best films, series, soap operas and auditorium programs (available in the DStv Bué package).
• Trace Toca (595 Channel): The channel dedicated to African music and culture with the most popular musical genres of Angola, Mozambique, Guinea Bissau and more (available in the DStv Easy, DStv Grande and DStv Bué packages).

Except for channel DStv Popcorn, which will only broadcast 12 hours, the remaining channels will have an 24 hours broadcast. DStv's big bet is that the new channels will display content exclusively in Portuguese, except the DStv CineMundo that transmitted the films in the original version but with subtitles in Portuguese.
