Net One announced yesterday, October 23, the launch of its 4th Generation Internet service (4G) for the beginning of 2015. The company brought together the main customers and partners to present its new service based on LTE 4G technology, at an event that took place at the Switch Super Club - Hotel Epic Sana.
In order to further improve the user experience on the internet, the operator ensures, with the 4 Generation service, the increase of 2 at least times the current access speed that will be noticed mainly in the video viewing. Net One aims to provide its customers, whether entrepreneurs, individuals, professionals or students, an easy-to-use service with good experimentation.
LTE (Long Term Evolution) is one of the access technologies that qualify for the 4G (fourth generation) designation that enables mobile broadband with connection speeds of up to 50 Mbps, enabling a broader range of voice communications and data transfer .
This technology presents technical similarities with the WiMAX system being a natural evolution to the existing network. The implementation of this network is being carried out with the technology partner Huawei and is already available in the regions of Talatona and Nova Vida from November 2014 for the first tests.

The launch of this new technology has so far represented an investment of 2 million USD, plus 6 million USD for the entry of LTE in Luanda. By the end of 2015 will be invested more 22 million USD for the total expansion of data network, which prefers a total investment of 30 million USD. This investment represents a strong contribution of Net One in the socioeconomic scope of Angola, through the creation of new jobs and opportunity for the development of new businesses.
