The Second Edition of “Africa Science Weeek Angola” has the agenda released.
The Africa Science Week event takes place simultaneously in 30 African countries in order to arouse the curiosity of learning and interest in the areas of CTEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) among the public, and offer opportunities for citizens to engage science in their daily lives, especially to young people and especially women to become excellent scientists and technologists. Given the main purpose of the Africa Science Week mentor, the Next Einstein Forum, (NEF) which is “Connect science to humanity”
This year and for the second time in Angola, Africa Science Week will be organized in Luanda and Cabinda, at a set of free coordinated events from 08 to 16 November this year by Oscar Jaime António - NEF Ambassador to Angola, in co-organization with Mwendya Investimentos (SU) Lda.
This edition aims to bring together more than 8 events during the proposed week. And all these events will be organized in rural as well as urban areas, universities, innovation centers, research centers and even more, in order to enable the aggregation, inclusion and participation of individuals (Students, Teachers, Industrial Leaders, Professionals, Scientific Researchers, Inventors, etc.) from various age groups in panel discussions, lectures, contests, competitions, visits to research centers and more.
