The Angolan telecommunications market is favorable to receive new investments and diversify services in this sector in the country, according to the director of the corporate area of the mobile phone operator Africell, Sérgio Possevelo.
Speaking at the launch of “Africell Boss Plan”, the manager stressed that the telecommunications sector in Angola is attractive to investors, as a result of the high level of demand for these services throughout the national territory.
The person in charge was satisfied with the company's performance in the Angolan market, where it has been operating since April 7, 2022, and expects to increasingly boost the sector, with a view to developing new businesses.
In two years in Angola, the country's fourth mobile telephone operator has 500 thousand customers, which represents a market share of around 30 percent, being present, albeit partially, in Luanda, Huila, Benguela and Cuanza-Sul, in an investment of more than 100 million dollars.
