FacebookThe Hackers decided once again to attack the public user of the social network Facebook, in order to steal user data.

According to the information PSafe, the attack happens as follows: the user receives a notification from a friend on Facebook and when clicking on the warning, they are redirected to download a supposed Google Chrome plugin, called “The Player”.

The moment the user downloads it as requested, it becomes infected, their data become relatively vulnerable so hackers collect the data that interests them, in addition to being hacked, the browser that uses to access your Facebook may be contaminated. And with this, hackers can have control of your entire account, even sending several false notifications to your friends.

We recommend that people have due control and attention when opening certain notifications, and especially those that direct the user to a certain page and in that they ask that they install a certain application that is outside their app store. Always be careful before clicking on links and especially those that seem suspicious, if by mistake you opened the link and installed or the suspicious application uninstall it. Always try to use a security application.

Know that the more attention you give before clicking a link, the more times it can be saved from hacking.
