Angola will be present at the 2023 edition of the world robotics championship for students (under 18), called FIRST GLOBAL, taking place from October 06th to 11th in Singapore, with a group of students led by arotec (Angolan startup in the robotics and technology sector).
According to the press release sent to the MenosFios editorial team, the national team is made up of students who were qualified after winning the national robotics championship called CANAR, namely 5 students, 2 mentors and 1 coach representing technological advances in the area of robotics in Singapore.

The international competition titled FIRST GLOBAL CHALLENGE has the participation of 192 countries competing in an event with more than 1000 students from all over the world. This year the competition aims to build ribs for teaching and to fulfill the tasks of the theme Hydrogens Horizons (hydrogen horizons) which aims to encourage innovation and solutions and for clean and renewable energy.
O FIRST GLOBAL is an Olympic competition-style challenge that takes place every year in different countries in which 190 teams build and program a robot, which performs different tasks according to the theme based on major engineering challenges.
