ATMs make 100 kwanzas available from Friday, January 07th

As of the 07th of January, that is, Friday, the maximum amount to be withdrawn at ATMs (CA) will go from Kz 60 a day to Kz 100, as established by the National Bank of Angola (BNA), last December.

In the highlighted document, which was signed by its governor, José de Lima Massano, the maximum daily withdrawal amount for payment cards, cumulatively, at ATMs and Automatic Payment Terminals (TPA) is set at 150 kwanzas.

It should be noted that, so far, the maximum amount authorized at ATMs is 60 kwanzas/day, since January 2020, also in the light of an instruction of December 11, 2019, from the Angolan Central Bank.

On the other hand, withdrawing money via POS without an associated purchase, in commercial establishments, will now be done with a 1,0% discount on the customer value, as the only commission provided for in Instruction No. 12/2021, of September 14, for these operations.

In light of the new decisions of the National Bank of Angola, revealed to journalists, the maximum daily amount for transfers initiated by card is now Kz 5 million (5.000.000.00) per payment card.
