AVP bets on technical qualification to reinforce market presence

AVP, a telecommunications service provider, invests in the qualification of human capital to strengthen its presence in the sector. According to the company's administrator, Rui Pires, the process involves increasing technical capacity and increasing the number of workers, a process that is already underway.

Advances that there is an investment in the teams that will work on the sites, as well as in certifications of work at height, climbing equipment, everything “to continue offering quality services”. They have a partnership that has generated positive results in the qualification of the staff, since it is the multinational Huawei.

The company recently invested in a training center, equipped with a tower, the latest generation Huawei equipment and intends to expand the training to the general public.

He added that the training actions will be based on climbing techniques, installation of equipment in shelters, aligning microwave antennas, installation of antennas and other services associated with the provision of services by this company.

The company intends to advantageously exploit the current fourth industrial revolution, since, with the advent of economy 4.0, communication operators and technology companies in general will have to improve their equipment and AVP as a provider of installation services is preparing for better meet present and future needs.

Still on future events, and this one closer to being realized, the company operates with a supplier, whose name prefers not to advance, to supply and install equipment for the newest mobile operator in the country, Africell.

Activities developed by AVP Serviços

The telecommunications service provider was responsible for the installation of the AC / DC power system at the centrals of the main operators in Angola, as well as for the construction, in partnership with Huawei, of the Unitel STP network, headquarters and store in São Tomé and Príncipe .

It was also dedicated to the installation of the new generation network in the operators Unitel and Movicel, of the communications network supporting the security network of CISP, migration of 750 mobile phone stations in Huawei and Ericsson equipment, among other services.

In Angola since March 2011, AVP Serviços is dedicated to the installation and configuration of radio equipment, construction of a telecommunications station under a key regime, construction of data centers, photovoltaic panel installations, and other services associated with the telecommunications universe in Angola.

In the national market, AVP Serviços provides services to Huawei, Ericsson, Unitel, Movicel, Net one, among others. In addition to Angola, AVP Serviços is present in São Tomé and Príncipe and Portugal, having recently won a tender launched by the World Bank (BM) for the installation of fiber optic cables in Guinea-Bissau.

When assessing the telecommunications sector in the country, Rui Pires stated that the mobile and fixed telephone networks are equipped with the latest equipment, namely Huawei, which has made large investments in the last 10 years and allows greater speeds associated with technological security.
