O TikTok officially launched a new app created especially to rival Instagram. It's called TikTok Notes and was initially launched only in Canada and Australia.
"We're in the early days of experimenting with a dedicated space for photo and text content with TikTok Notes. We hope the TikTok community uses TikTok Notes to continue sharing their moments through photo posts", can be read in TikTok's official statement.
BUT: TikTok owner considers entering the video game industry
The photographs available on App Store indicate that, like TikTok, TikTok Notes is divided into two 'feeds': one 'For you' with content recommended by the algorithm and another 'Following' with content only from pages followed by the user.
It is not known when TikTok Notes will be launched in more territories, but if this first period is favorable for this alternative to Instagram, it is likely to arrive soon.
