Meta's President of Global Affairs, Nick Clegg, told the publication Semaphore that former US President Donald Trump will be able to return to Facebook as of January 2023.
Clegg notes that it is early next year that expires Facebook's decision to suspend Trump for two years🇧🇷 The decision was officially taken in June 2021, with effect from January 7 of that year.

As for the possibility of Trump remaining suspended from Facebook, Clegg noted that Meta will base its decision after speaking with experts – this in order to understand whether the return represents “a real danger to the world".
"If you consider that there is content on our platform that leads to real danger in the world, then I feel we have a clear responsibility to act against it.”, stated Clegg.
