E3 2015: Microsoft Conference Summary

2956

XBOX-PRESSER-E3-2015-30If the battle between Sony and Microsoft it seemed decided some time ago, Bill Gates' company used E3 2015 to show that not only does it not lose the battle, it also has arguments to relaunch the battle for our money.

In addition to the presentation of several games, Microsoft presented its plans to turn the Xbox One more and more into a gaming PC and less and less in just one more console. This “console” will now have Backward Compatibility , meaning it will be possible to play previous Xbox games on Xbox One (it's time to get some games out of the pantry). Although it was already known that it will be possible to connect Xbox One to the PC and stream games on it using Windows 10, it was not known that it will be possible to take mods made for PC and use them on Xbox One. What was previously a PC exclusive has now been shared by Xbox One. A new Xbox controller will be released and will have some features that until today were only found in gaming mice, that is, it will be possible to reprogram its buttons and still remove or add components. As if it didn’t think it was copying too much what a PC is capable of in terms of gaming, Xbox One will give you the possibility to play games that are still in development, which includes DayZ and The Long Dark, very early access style.

In relation to the games here are all that were presented:

Halo 5: Guardians

Microsoft has revealed a little more about the much anticipated Halo 5. It has revealed a little more about the game's history including more details about Locke's mission. It also revealed that it would follow the example of Titanfall a little and its multiplayer mode will mix players and characters controlled by the PC.

Recore

A game from the creators of Mega Man and Metroid brings us a game of a woman and her robot dog fighting enemies in the middle of the desert. Launch scheduled for 2016.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warefare 2
