Starting next November, the model of Multimedia written exam to obtain a Driving License in the province of Luanda, an instrument that will serve to assess the skills of people who intend to drive, in order to reduce the road accident rate.

The information was revealed by the General Commander of the National Police (PN), Arnaldo Carlos, at a press conference, after having participated in the 2nd Ordinary Session of the National Council for Traffic and Traffic Planning (CNVOT), guided by the Vice-President of the Republic , Hope of the Coast.

"The procedures for the implementation of these examinations are already being carried out. In November of the current year come into force“, said the person in charge at the end of the meeting that analyzed road accidents in the first half of the current year.

According to Arnaldo Carlos, the introduction of the multimedia exam is one of several CNVOT strategies to be implemented to reduce the number of road accidents, which from January to July of the current year amounted to seven thousand 283 (-51) accidents in relation to the same period of 2022.

From what has been revealed, the exams will be gradually extended to the other provinces, as these regions are already being equipped with materials for the implementation of the exams in the multimedia system.

The multimedia exam will allow the examinee to be monitored in real time and the result processed in record time. With that, explained the chief superintendent, the Government is complying with what is stipulated by law, in article 119 of the Highway Code and the Regulation of Driving Education and Legal Qualification for Driving.
