Multimedia exams to obtain a driving license come into force in Cuanza Sul

Os multimedia exams are already being carried out in the province of Kwanza Sul, with the inauguration of a technology room with the capacity to serve 25 students.

The technological solution was inaugurated by the commander of the National Police in Cuanza-Sul, Filomeno Araújo, where it will allow multimedia exams to be carried out for drivers.

Please note that the multimedia written exam model for obtaining a Driving License is now available in several provinces of the country, where this operation comes under the terms of the Highway Code and its implementation will bring several benefits, mainly in the elimination of human intervention during the test.

The multimedia exam will allow the examinee to be monitored in real time and the result processed in record time. With that, explained the chief superintendent, the Government is complying with what is stipulated by law, in article 119 of the Highway Code and the Regulation of Driving Education and Legal Qualification for Driving.

According to the head of the Driver Qualification Department of the Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety, chief superintendent Angelino Sarrote, the new written exam model will adapt to the regional parameters of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries and standards international standards, as well as allowing greater rigor in the aptitude of new drivers, fairness and impartiality of examiners.

The official added that the multimedia exams are part of the 2023 – 2027 National Strategy for Road Safety and Prevention Project, as they provide greater smoothness and rigor in assigning a new result, removing possible empathy or apathy from the examiner.
