Facebook Stories reaches 300 Millions of users

O Facebook announced this Wednesday (26 / 9), during the presentation at Advertising Week, held in New York, that the Stories has reached the mark of 300 million daily users.

The social network also announced that advertisers around the world have the opportunity to reach their target audience with Facebook Stories ads. Stories ads work on the full screen, making "content more immersive and giving advertisers the opportunity to drive results across the entire marketing channel."

When we first formed the team, we brought filmmakers to understand the logic surrounding storytelling and film production , says Dantley Davis, Design Director of Facebook Stories. We're working on formats to let people capture the video and make it special.

Facebook has addressed more scientific analysis to determine which creative tools should be launched. Liz Keneski, user experience research manager on Facebook, says the company invests in research trips, internal testing and focus groups to shape social networking products.

People are using Stories more and more to share their experiences, as it is a specially visual format that allows them to unleash their creativity. On Facebook, we want to help make this experience even more enriching not only for people, but also for brands, who can reach their audiences in a much more innovative and effective way, said Irene Cano, Facebook Country Manager Iberia.
